Meet Aunty Donna

Aunty Donna's House began with a vision of wanting to take care of my daughter and homeschool while still being able to pay the bills.  I prayed and stepped out on faith leaving behind a great corporate job and starting childcare from my home.  I began with taking care of a few of my previous co workers children.  Then by word of mouth I began to grow.  Just as I was in my prime getting things together to grow Aunty Donna's House I was told by my HOA I could not have a business in my home.  This caused me to shut down my business and reenter the workforce.  I worked at many jobs involving children from daycare centers to remediation/assistant teacher at Huntersville Elementary School.  I had an ache still that wanted to service children at my home.  My daughter was now older so I decided to try again at Aunty Donna's House but this time as an afterschool program.  I cleared it with my now new HOA and it was approved.  I operated out of my home after I worked at Huntersville Elementary.  God spoke and told me step out again and this time keep pushing don't let anything stop you.  You can do all things.  AND with God I did and here we are servicing you and your beautiful children.
